I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist offering psychological therapy to adults online and in-person in South Manchester, UK.
“Psychological distress can take many forms and it is not always clear what contributes to the experience of shame, confusion, despair, isolation, anger and guilt.“
The Therapy
I provide support for adults struggling with body image, self-esteem, identity, or relationship challenges. My aim is to help you feel understood, confident, and supported.
I work with you to understand yourself more fully, offering support with emotional and relational difficulties and promoting overall psychological well-being.
I work to create a space where you can speak freely, explore what matters to you, and feel understood. All sessions are conducted in strict confidentiality.
We’ll take time to understand what’s been shaping your inner world. Our work will be a shared process of understanding your experiences, the patterns that have developed around them, and how we can create change together in a way that feels supportive. It’ll be balance of insight and practical tools.
I have more than 10 years of experience supporting people through individual therapy and facilitating therapy groups. I have worked across a range of settings, including the NHS, private hospitals, and the charity sector. I have significant clinical experience working with:
✔ Low mood
✔ Burnout & Work-related difficulties
✔ Relationship issues
✔ Identity concerns
✔ Chronic illness
✔ Body image & disordered eating
✔ Confidence & self-esteem
I work collaboratively with each client to shape therapy around their unique needs. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic models to support you in the way that fits best. I have expertise in humanistic, relational and cognitive behavioural therapies.
I also take a systemic and intersectional perspective. This means I’m mindful not only of your inner world, but of the wider systems you live within; the social, cultural, and relational contexts that shape how we see ourselves and others.
